they are given way to much power. If they wanna fuck u over, they will always find a way, or "make" one in some cases. Example- if u get pulled over in a car, you have almost no chance of refusing a search. all the cop has to do is say he smells marijuana, or that he supposedly saw some "marijuana seeds".

generally speaking, i appreciate law enforcement officials. i dont appreciate the law enforcement additude. i look at it like this: most low level cops probably have good intentions, but when you deal with scumbags all day and and have napolean complex/control freak/power trip issues, you are bound to have a shitty additude at work. id say 80% of all the cops ive met when they are off duty have been super chill
I was just kidding with you and the other two. Hell, who doesn't know that there are many crooked cops all across the U.S. Lokk at New Orleans about 10-15 years ago. Those cops there were so damn crooked they had to bring in the FBI to oversee them.
Look at cities like L.A., Chicago, New York, and many more over the years. The corruption was ridiculous. Of course there are still crooked assholes spread out in many departments.
The majority of them though are hard working people who have to deal with the turds and shitbags of our society on a daily basis. How many people call the police and when they show up say "I don't have any problems, I just wanted to say nice job."
In my everyday life over the past 43 years I've dealt with shitty car dealers, shitty lawyers, shitty doctors, shitty cashiers, shitty bartenders, shitty books, etc...
Thing is the ones that do good, and don't get me wrong, there are ones that go over and beyond, get a bad rap from the all too many bad ones.
Nowadays, their attitude is "if we have to go out there, somebody is getting arrested", when I was a kid, their attitude was "OK, break it up, go to neutral corners"
